Roger and Claire Pratt

The Pratt’s comprehensive collection of textiles includes majestic Anatolian kilims, flat weaves, embroideries from the Ottoman world, and a wide array of traditional works from the silk road. Several pieces were featured in the Fall 2018 exhibition A Nomad’s Art: Kilims of Anatolia at The George Washington University Textile Museum.  A variety of other antique and contemporary international craft art will also be on display.

Marc and Diane Grainer

The collection of Marc and Diane Grainer is a DC craft destination. The couple has collected studio craft in all media for more than 30 years, with special emphasis on British ceramics and artist-made furniture. Highlights of the museum-worthy collection include a commission by 2019 Master of the Medium Therman Statom as well as important work by artists Robert Arneson and Judy McKie.

Thank you to the Spring Craft Weekend Committee and Caucus Day Co-Chairs Barbara Berlin and Sandy Mitchell for making this weekend possible.
